We have an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Educator/Advisor in our Customer Relations, National Service Center, Technology and Customer Strategies Department in Richardson, TX.

The Nurse Educator/Advisor will provide health education and advisement to both internal and external Service Center Customers, including the general public, health care providers, donors, volunteers and AHA employees seeking health information. Will work both independently and as a team member to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service. Manages inbound and outbound calls to provide nursing consultation to customers regarding health, disease pathology, medications, diagnostic procedures, lifestyle and current research. Must have ability to work evening or weekend shifts as business dictates. Call Center or Nurse Line experience preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

*Registered nurse with current Texas License
*BSN required
*Masters Degree preferred
*BLS & ACLS required within six months of employment
*Must maintain continuing education as required by the Texas State Board of Nursing
*Minimum 3+ years current clinical cardiology experience, preferably CCU or ICU
